Making of
Technique
To produce this animation, a combination of different techniques has been used to create a different work with a new style, which is made unique by the Iranian atmosphere and character execution technique. After the ideation, completion of the story and storyboard, the characters of Omid were animated frame by frame and after the background design, they were composited. In the design of the character and its texture, materials and elements related to the environment and the situation in which it lives were used, for example, rice, which is a symbol of northern Iran, snow taken from the space of Siberia, and also images were used extensively, and all of these elements were collaged on the animated frames of the character. The atmosphere of this work has a different and pleasant form that, in addition to being related to the narrative, has created a sense of intimacy and empathy with the audience.
